Metronomy recently released their third full-length, The English Riviera, a record they curiously described as "Daft Punk meets the Eagles." If you're interested to hear how this unlikely mix of influences translates onstage, you will soon have a chance to satisfy your curiosity. In October, the British pop eccentrics will come to North America for a tour.
The outing will take the group from the West Coast all the way to the eastern part of the continent. Along the way, Metronomy will play three Canadian cities: Vancouver, Montreal and Toronto. According to a press release, "Audiences should expect a vibrant live show with bright lights flashing on and off the performer's bodies as they creatively weave in and out of their songs -- old and new."
Before the North American outing begins, the band will spend the summer playing shows in Europe. See the full schedule below.
