British electro-pop crew Metronomy released their Love Letters back in 2014, and now they're set to deliver the goods on another new LP.

The album is called Summer 08, which is set to arrive on July 1 via Because Music. Speaking with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1, Metronomy leader Joe Mount said that he recorded the album in two weeks.

Fortunately, to whet our appetites until the full platter, the band have shared a funky new single called "Old Skool." It features turntablism from Beastie Boys collaborator Mix Master Mike.

Stay tuned for more on Summer 08 as we approach its release. Until then, you can listen to "Old Skool" below.

UPDATE (5/12, 12 p.m.): Metronomy have also shared a video for "Old Skool," as well as given us the tracklist for the record. As you'll notice, the album will feature Robyn on a song called "Hang Me out to Dry."
