Metric are pretty busy this fall, with the release of Formentera II barely following the 20th anniversary of Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? The band have decided to kill two birds with one stone, as they've mapped out a short tour celebrating both occasions.

They're hitting small venues on the nine-stop tour, with the sole Canadian event happening at the newly reopened Concert Hall in Toronto. They'll also hit up New York City, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Mexico City, Monterrey and Santiago. London and Paris will be acoustic shows with bandleader Emily Haines and guitarist Jimmy Shaw.

"Set lists will be bonkers," the band claims on a social media post. "We also have some very cool, limited edition merch & vinyl coming your way. Come celebrate with us!"

Pre-sale begins tomorrow (September 7) for users of the Metric app with presale code "ILOVEMETRIC," with regular on-sale happening September 8 at 10 a.m. (except for Mexico City, where on-sale begins on September 15).
