While an extreme amount of ugliness was sure to be expected at the 11th annual Gathering of the Juggalos earlier this month, it looks as if a number of violent altercations have prompted a few lawsuits from celebrities. As was widely reported, trashy reality TV star/"singer" Tila Tequila is threatening to sue the Insane Clown Posse over injuries sustained when she was pelted with everything from glass bottles to human excrement. Now, Wu-Tang rapper Method Man is the latest to threaten the Dark Carnival with legal action.
Meth didn't quite get a face full of Juggalo shit, but AllHipHop reports he was hit in the cheek with a full beer can when he took the stage with Redman at the event. With Method Man visibly bleeding, Redman encouraged him to go clean himself up. Instead, he performed the set.
Today (August 18), he told TMZ, "I'm suing those motherfuckers... It's not okay... I don't condone throwing things at the talent while they're performing."
No official lawsuit has been filed as of yet. If he does bring it to court, however, the money might not come that easily. Responding to Tequila's threat of a lawsuit, the ICP's Violent J told TMZ, "We're not gonna sit back and give her our money."
