Metallica might sometimes complain about not earning as much as they used to, but make no mistake: the veteran metal band can still bring in a whole load of cash through selling concert tickets, which appear to be as in demand as ever. The group recently announced Canadian tour dates, and they're apparently selling so well that additional shows have been added to the trek.
The tour originally had Metallica playing in Edmonton on August 17 at Rexall Place, and that gig sold out so fast that the band have added another show the next night, August 18, at the same venue. Similarly, the band's August 24 gig at Vancouver's Rogers Arena sold out and a second performance has been added for August 25.
Tickets for both of the new dates are on sale now from Live Nation, so if you didn't manage to get tickets for the original shows, this is your chance. On the other hand, if you already have tickets and really want a second opportunity to sing along to "Enter Sandman," now is the time to make that happen.
