Merry Ellen Kirk

"Ever After" (video)

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Sep 28, 2015

Merry Ellen Kirk spent much of her childhood in Mongolia thanks to her missionary parents, though the singer-songwriter has since settled in Nashville. Her global travels have granted her a unique perspective on the world around her, and her upcoming full-length We Are the Dreamers offers listeners a chance to see through that same lens.

Before the album arrives next month, Kirk has shared a new clip for album cut "Ever After." It sees the young songstress pleading emotionally into the camera from fairytale-esque surroundings of lush forests and glistening waters.

It's a fantastical, whimsical accompaniment to the folksy dream-pop offering, and you can watch the video premiere of "Ever After" in the player below.

We Are the Dreamers is out on October 23.
