Last year, outlaw country great Merle Haggard dropped his most recent set, Working in Tennessee. Now, the prolific musician will take those tunes, not to mention hits from the rest of his 40-plus years on the scene, out on the road in 2013.
A recently released tour schedule confirms that the Hag has a couple of U.S. shows to get through in 2012 still, but will make his way around his home country again by February. Canadian fans will get their chance to see the legend by May, with tour dates running eastward from Ontario towards the Maritimes. "I'm swinging back in full throttle right now. Music keeps me alive," the icon previously said in a statement of the promotional push behind Working in Tennessee. "It makes me breathe better. It's funny, but I feel better when I come off a tour than when I start out."
