Hard-working Brooklyn quartet the Men have been touring steadily behind this year's Open Your Heart, including a "true-to-form" performance in Toronto this past June as part of NXNE, and the band will keep at it until at least November.
A newly tweaked tour itinerary adds a couple Canadian shows to their schedule. Earlier this summer, the group announced a September 5 show in Vacnouver with hometown heroes White Lung, but following a quickie trip to Europe, the Men will make it to Toronto and Montreal in November. Even if you caught the troupe in Hogtown a couple of months ago, you might want to check out their next in-town appearance. The press release explains that the group are using these upcoming dates to trot out some new material recorded this past spring. While specifics are scant, the songs are expected to appear on Open Your Heart's follow-up, an album that the Men discussed with Exclaim! earlier this year.
