Published Sep 25, 2014UK producers Soosh and Memotone recently joined forces under the portmanteau Memoosh. Ahead of the group's self-titled debut landing through Project: Mooncircle, they're now premiering the set's "Pale Fire."
A press release explains that Memoosh was put together during as series of weekend sessions between the pair over the course of a year, with all of the music having been prepared in person. The instrumentation includes guitars, piano, cello, zither, drums, clarinet, synths and more, run through various effects boxes and placed against field recordings.
For "Pale Fire," Memotone & Soosh have brewed up a blur of siren sounds, warped-tape six-string bends a beat made of shaker sounds and heavy rainfall.
