Memoryhouse

"Untitled" (video)

Toronto dream pop unit Memoryhouse are back with a new untitled tune to thank everybody for the last year of their life (well, maybe not everyone).

The band described the track  as being "about friendship, and love, and is kind of a mix between Randy Newman's Toy Story theme and the intro to The Golden Girls." Sonically, it's full of glossy keys and gentle electric guitar sweeps, and the soft-pop tune has vocalist Denise Nouvion giddily admitting to no one in particular, "My friend, you're just my type / When I'm blue, you make my world bright."

The clip, meanwhile, features some pleasant slow-mo visuals of carousels, horses, and global landmarks. You can peep the travelogue down below.
