Memory Tapes Takes 'Piano Player' on the Road, Plays Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto
With a new Memory Tapes album due next month, we figured that mastermind Dayve Hawk would be taking his project on the road soon. Sure enough, he's just announced a tour that includes three Canadian dates.

After a handful of European gigs, the North American leg of the tour will begin in Vancouver on July 18. The next month, he will then hit up Montreal and Toronto while touring the eastern half of the continent.

All told, there are only nine shows on this side of the Pacific. But hey, a third of them are in Canada, so we're not complaining. See the dates below, and scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the trippy new video for "Yes I Know."

Go here to read up on the forthcoming Piano Player, due out July 5 on Carpark.

Thanks to Some Kind of Awesome for the dates.
