Thanks to monthly events from the folks at Long Winter, it's been an interesting time for interdisciplinary arts and music in Toronto. Up next, they've teamed up with the Heretical Objects Cooperative for an even more ambitious project.

The new event is called INSulator, and a press release describes it as "a giant audio-virtual maze installation." The event takes place inside the Sandbox, a new 6,000-square-foot performance space at Artscape.

As audiences travel through the piece, they'll "finds themselves navigating through a sheer, semi-inflatable maze/fort structure." As they continue, they'll experience video projections from the Toronto production team PORCH, as well as live music performed behind fabric walls.

The music for the project will be provided by a star-studded cast of musicians, including members of Yamantaka // Sonic Titan, Holy Fuck, Lido Pimienta, DOOMSQUAD, Mary Margaret O'Hara, Not the Wind Not the Flag, JOOJ, Egyptrixx, Soupcans and Fucked Up.

INSulator takes place on February 17 and 18 at Artscape Sandbox.
