Members of Rise Against, Alkaline Trio, Articles of Faith and the Bomb Join Forces as Dead Ending
Move over, OFF!, there's a new generation-spanning, '80s hardcore-influenced band in town. They're called Dead Ending, and they feature members of Articles of Faith, the Bomb, the Alkaline Trio and Rise Against.

According to a press release, the group was conceived when the Bomb's Jeff Dean met Articles of Faith frontman Vic Bondi on tour in 2006. They quickly became friends thanks to a mutual love of hard-hitting '80s hardcore, and discussed the possibility of starting their own project.

From there, Dean recorded some tracks at home with the help of Alkaline Trio drummer Derek Grant, and soon Rise Against's Joe Principe added his skills on the bass.

The result is a five-song self-titled EP that will drop on twelve-inch vinyl via Alternative Tentacles on May 15. The band will make their live debut at Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas on May 28. They are also said to be working on a full-length album.

The tracklisting is available below, along with a stream of the track "This Is a Stick Up."
