Members of Don Caballero Announce New Album as Broughton's Rules
Long-running math rock legends Don Caballero may have slowed down their output as of late, but members of the group, alongside members of Blunderbuss, have been keeping busy with their Broughton's Rules project, which has just prepared a sophomore album.

The group released their debut album Bounty Hunter 1853 in 2010, and they've just cobbled together a follow-up called Anechoic Horizon. The eight-song release was recorded by Justin Pizzoferrato, who has previously worked with Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr., among others.

A press release calls the album "a densely lush record full of dramatic peaks and valleys," adding, "Rarely does an instrumental post-rock record come along that is as expressive as this."

Relapse will issue Anechoic Horizon on November 10. The album's tracklisting is available below, along with a stream of its closing track "Umbra."

Anechoic Horizon:

1. Reversers
2. Gothics
3. Insanity Dance
4. Anechoic Horizon
5. The Fields Of None
6. New Weather
7. Shadows and Light
8. Umbra
