Sylvan Esso have reunited their 2019 touring band, WITH, to reimagine tracks from their 2020 album Free Love for a new EP titled WITH LOVE. The record is out now via Loma Vista Recordings.

The WITH band includes members of Bon Iver, Wye Oak, Hiss Golden Messenger, Mr. Twin Sister and Hand Habits, as well as Alexandra Sauser-Monnig (Daughter of Swords) and Molly Sarlé of Mountain Man. Together, the 10-piece band have reimagined six of Sylvan Esso's Free Love songs.

"Getting the WITH band back together a year after our original tour (and in most cases, the last shows any of us played) was such an unexpected joy in a year where all other plans fell through," the band said in a statement. "We are immensely grateful to everyone who worked so hard to help us make this safe and possible, and to everyone out there who listens. Thank you."

Free Love was released back in September. The duo previously teamed up with WITH for a massive tour, from which they culled a concert film also titled WITH.

Meanwhile, Sylvan Esso vocalist Amelia Meath has been keeping busy recording with Sarlé and Sauser-Monnig as Mountain Man, who last released a record in 2018 and have spent the pandemic recording covers for their Mountain Man Sings series.
