From Bowmanville, ON to Nashville, TN, Meghan Patrick is bringing American country music to her Canadian audience; she's releasing her latest album, Country Music Made Me Do It, with an assist from Nashville music producer and songwriter Jeremy Stover.

Partick's title track is an uplifting and inspirational story about her love and persistence of country music. A soulful ballad brings to mind "Nashville Without You" by Tim McGraw, but differs on its inclination with a homage to the King of Country — "George Strait" inquires after a Southern gentleman. "The Buzz" creates a party atmosphere that adorns the album, while the suggestively sensual and seductive serenade "Feel Me Gone" is personally intimate and revealing. "Underrated" incorporates soul and rhythm and blues with a '60s style guitar riff, which carries the tender and warm hearted lyrics.

Country Music Made Me Do It is a culmination and maturation of Patrick's capabilities and talent. Her latest album unites an assortment of musical intricacies beautifully.
