Published Nov 01, 2011Both Megadeth and Motörhead have been bringing metal to the masses for decades. In early 2012, the two bands will unite headbangers across the continent when they headline the latest instalment of Megadeth's Gigantour festival, alongside Lacuna Coil and Volbeat.
The outing will last for a little over a month, stretching from late January through February. There are 24 dates in total, and nine of those are here in Canada. This includes a series of shows in Quebec and Ontario in early February and a number of dates in Western Canada. See the schedule below.
Gigantour was originally founded in 2005, and this marks the first time Megadeth have brought its travelling metal fest on the road since 2008.
Megadeth are using the return of Gigantour to promote their album TH1RT3EN, which came out today (November 1) through Roadrunner Records.
