If you've been waiting for "the metal tour of the year," it's just arrived. Megadeth and Lamb of God have just announced a co-headlining North American tour, with Trivium and In Flames both on board as well.

The trek includes 55 dates, with the first kicking off on June 12 in Bristow, VA. In addition to a long list of US. stops, there are Canadian dates in Toronto, Quebec City and Laval, QC.

You can see the full schedule down below.

The announcement comes after Dave Mustaine recently announced his recovery from throat cancer. In a statement announcing the tour, he said, "Hello me! I'm back again, better than ever and coming to a town near you with Lamb of God, Trivium and In Flames. If you want high octane metal madness this is the tour for you."

The tour also comes as Lamb of God get set to release their newly announced self-titled album, which arrives on May 8 via Epic/Nuclear Blast.

"Lamb of God has toured with and been friends with all of these bands for years, but for all of us to be on the same bill is something extra special," said Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton.

Tickets go on sale Friday (February 14) at 10 a.m. local time.
