Megadeth

"Dystopia"

Though Megadeth's Dystopia album is due to drop in two weeks' time, the metal vets are giving us a grim look at the future with a stream of the title track.

While starting off with an ominous shudder of wind and machinery, the track quickly clips into a heavy backbeat and twin guitar melodies. Dave Mustaine's patented sociopolitical sneer weighs in on authoritative forces masking the truth from their citizens and trying to force us to live in fear.

There's plenty of chugging riffs, while a hard-stomped tempo shift takes over in the mid-section. You can hear the song below, while Dystopia drops in full January 22 via Universal Music.

As previously reported, Megadeth takes off on tour with Suicidal Tendencies, Children of Bodom and Havok next month. The trip hits various Canadian cities, and you can see the schedule over here.
