It's been two years since M.E.D. released the excellent Classic. That same year, Blu released his album Her Favorite Colo(u)r. Now, the two hip-hop titans have teamed up for a new collaborative EP.
The record is called The Burgundy EP, and offers up four new compositions. Three of those were produced by Madlib, with the other beat coming courtesy of Georgia Anne Muldrow.
In addition to the originals, there are instrumentals and acapella tracks, making this an ideal purchase for your next DJ set.
Stones Throw is distributing the record, which M.E.D. is releasing on his own Bang Ya Head imprint. The EP can be preordered here and is expected to ship on February 19.
