Published Feb 12, 2009This whole '90s revival thing is hitting like a ton of bricks. Don't believe me? How about this little titbit: according to a news item from Rolling Stone, MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice will be reuniting for one night only to perform a show in Orem, Utah (where?) on February 27.
The fallen rappers will be performing together for the first time since their early '90s heyday, and the best part is that the evening is called "Hammer Pants and Ice." Hammer will be bringing 24 dancers and a choir, while Ice will be joined only by his badass 'tude.
As the flyer points out, the event is even being presented by a bankrupt company: the struggling camera manufacturer Polaroid. Tickets for the event range from $29.50 to $35.50 USD, which should leave plenty of room on your credit card to book a flight, get some zig-zags shaved into your hair, and find some parachute pants on eBay.
