After having their song "Into Dust" featured in the trailer for the upcoming Gears of War 3 (which can be streamed below), non-nerdy Mazzy Star fans will be pleased to hear that the group have announced plans to release their first new material since 1996's Among My Swan.
Brooklyn Vegan points to a post on frontwoman Hope Sandoval's website, where she writes, "Hope and David Roback are back as Mazzy Star! Two songs will be released digitally on October 31, 2011. There will also be a limited edition color vinyl released on November 8, 2011."
