Montreal-based band Mauno have unveiled a video for their latest single "Take Care," which appears on their upcoming album Really Well.

"'Take Care' is a play on words — it's about caregiving as a woman, and also about saying goodbye," the band's Eliza Niemi explained in a statement. "It is about filling the role of taking care of someone and self-identifying through that, while simultaneously resenting the expectation of having to do so."

She added, "The chorus begins hinting at waiting for a relationship to finally feel reciprocal, and ends with the reveal of me actually waiting for it to fall apart / knowing all along that it was doomed."

The clip stars bandmates Niemi and Nick Everett, and it sees them getting wrapped up and ready to be shipped off for sale — complete with bubble wrap, packing peanuts and price tags. It was directed by Max Taeuschel.

As previously reported, Mauno's forthcoming album Really Well is out August 2. The band have a pile of Canadian dates coming up in support of the record, and you can see their schedule here.
