Matt Mays is back today with a video for his Dog City song "Talking to the Sky," which appropriately enough features his dog Rhuby — not to mention Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis of July Talk.
The video is a collaboration between Mays and the July Talk members, who both contributed vocals to the 2020 album.
"Leah and Peter are some of the most magical people I've ever met so when they approached me to make the video I was over the moon," Mays said in a statement. "The song (I hope) reflects all the mixed feelings we all have these days, and we wanted the video to evoke the same but introduce that glimmer of light at the end of the beach that everyone deserves to see again soon."
Down below, you can watch the results — and its star Rhuby — with the "Talking to the Sky" video.
