Though festival season isn't even in full-swing yet, Mastodon and Dinosaur Jr. are already looking ahead to the later months of 2018 by mapping out a North American tour.

The two bands have loaded up a 13-date itinerary with plenty of Canadian dates. After kicking off the tour in Edmonton on September 1, the bands will make stops in Calgary, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Kitchener and Hamilton.

Netherlands will provide support on all dates. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday (May 4) at 10 a.m. local time. Find a complete itinerary below.

Mastodon delivered both their Emperor of Sand LP and Cold Dark Place EP last year, while Dinosaur Jr. released their 11th LP, Give a Glimpse of What Yer Not, in 2016.
