Atlanta metal dudes Mastodon recently shared a twerk-heavy video for "The Motherload," and while they didn't offer up any more ass-shaking, they did perform the song on The Late Show with David Letterman last night (October 27).
The group powered through a straightforward take on the meaty, riff-heavy song. That said, there was still something in store for those looking for a laugh, as guitarist Brent Hinds kicked off the set with "more cowbell," wearing a similar outfit to Will Ferrell in every frat bro's favourite SNL sketch.
