YouTube personality and musician Poppy is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating characters on the web, pairing terrifying visuals with nods to illuminati conspiracy theories and plenty of solid music with enormous success. Now, however, fellow YouTuber and musician Mars Argo has filed a lawsuit claiming Poppy stole her character.

As TMZ reports, Argo (born Brittany Sheets) his filed suit against Titanic Sinclair (born Corey Michael Mixter) and Poppy (born Moriah Rose Pereira). Argo is claiming copyright infringement and emotional distress, adding that Poppy swiped her persona.

In the suit, Argo alleges that she dated and collaborated with Sinclair for five years. In that time, they produced 92 YouTube videos together and amassed 200 million views. Then, in 2014, they had a bad breakup, at which point Sinclair started working with Poppy.

"Both Mr. Mixter [Titanic] and Poppy are frauds," Mars' lawyer Matthew Umhofer told TMZ. "Their only artistry is con artistry: Their only original creation is the suffering they've caused my client."

A number of YouTubers have already created videos that portray the similarities between Poppy and Argo. You can watch some of those clips below.
