Mark Hoppus Says He's Considered Doing a Blink-182 Side-Project Tour with +44, Angels & Airwaves and Transplants

Although Tom DeLonge is deeply embedded in the stars, Blink-182 are plowing ahead with a new, weird-sounding album. Still, despite Tom's other concerns, Mark Hoppus hasn't ruled out heading out on tour with him.

While promoting his new Simple Creatures side-project at a press conference [via Rock Sound], Hoppus and his bandmate Alex Gaskarth were asked if they would ever tour with their other bands Blink-182 or All Time Low.

Hoppus took the question a step further, saying he would love to tour with all of Blink-182's side-projects.

"We actually talked about it at one point — doing a Blink and side-projects tour where we'd be like Transplants, Angels & Airwaves, Blink-182, +44 — and everything that anyone has ever been involved with," he said.

"So you'd do one show, and then your voice is blown for a month after doing four sets?" Gaskarth joked.

"Take a week off to recover, yeah," Hoppus replied. "We've talked about doing things like that. I think it'd be fun."

If this idea ever followed through, one can't help but wonder if DeLonge would do double duty on Angels & Airwaves and Blink-182. And would Box Car Racer play? What about Alkaline Trio? Would Scott Raynor be invited? So many questions.
