Marching Church

"Your Father's Eyes" (video)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 19, 2015

While Iceage singer Elias Bender Rønnenfelt has just announced a North American tour with his Marching Church side-project, the famously brooding post-punk has enclosed himself in his study in the new video for their "Your Fathers Eyes." You can give the inward visuals a good look right now.

There are two narratives to the over seven-minute video. One has Rønnenfelt wrapped up in a blanket and stalking the halls of his home while he sings his song. Elsewhere, a young pair get to know each other a bit better via late night talks in cars and the sounds of the male figure's steamy sax solo. Your eyes aren't deceiving you, the saxman is, in fact, Dirty Beaches's Alex Zhang Hungtai.

You'll find the video, which was directed by Marching Church member Kristian Emda, down below, where you can also peep the upcoming tour dates.
