Man in Slipknot Mask Terrifies Children's Playground

Slipknot recently made it easier than ever to dress up as Slipknot, releasing a batch of official masks on their website. With great nu-metal power comes great nu-metal responsibility, however, and a man in England has gone too far with his dress-up time.

According to Kent Online [via Alternative Press], a woman named Charlotte Nolan was terrified for her children's safety when a masked man started chasing children around the Adventure Kidz amusement park.

He was initially thought to be dressed as Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but real heads pointed out that his costume was actually the same mask Corey Taylor wore to promote Slipknot's All Hope Is Gone in 2008.

"I think the costume was completely inappropriate being in a soft play area for 10 years and below," Nolan told Kent Online. "They were completely off the mark. There are plenty more appropriate costumes they could wear, they could have done Frankenstein or Dracula, they just didn't need a man in a mask."

If you feel like terrifying some children this Halloween, you can grab your own Slipknot costume here.
