After Blood Orange was allegedly attacked by security guards at Lollapalooza over the weekend, another violent crime has left one man dead and another wounded in Chicago.

The Chicago Tribune reports [via Consequence of Sound] that a 32-year-old man was shot and killed with a 21-year-old man sustaining injuries outside of Bodi, a nightclub that was hosting an unofficial Lollapalooza afterparty.

The man who died was identified as Martrell Ross, a man who has been arrested multiple times since 1999 for drug offenses.

Police heard gunshots and arrived at the scene, but their suspect was able to escape.

The unofficial afterparty included an appearance from Nas. Earlier on in the weekend weekend, while performing onstage at the festival, the rapper addressed Chicago's shockingly high murder rate.
