Australian soul songstress Mama Kin is set to unveil her brand new video for "One Too Many," and Exclaim! has got your exclusive first look at it.
The track comes from Kin's 2014 LP The Magician's Daughter, named in honour of her mother, whose father worked as a professional magician in post-World War II Malta. The songs on the record meet in the middle ground between strength and vulnerability, hearing a singer who is "unafraid to mine the depths of the human condition."
"One Too Many" is no different, blending airy, jangly acoustic guitars with deep, expressive vocals. The new video features a live performance of the track, which was shot in black-and-white at De Barras Folk Club in Clonakilty, Ireland, during Kin's last European tour.
The Magician's Daughter is out now via Star House Collective, and Canadians will soon be getting a chance to see Kin in her live glory for themselves at her upcoming string of shows.
