Make Haste

"Should Have Left"

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 18, 2013

Dundas, ON-bred beatmaker Make Haste released a self-titled EP in 2012, and now he's followed it up with a danceable pop track called "Should Have Left."

The song was written, recorded and mastered by Make Haste mastermind TK Dallman. It's a brisk electro-pop track that pairs a steady dance beat with blippy synths and '80s-tinged, woe-is-me catchiness. Things take an unexpectedly noisy turn in the second half thanks to some screamed vocals.

Make Haste's influences include Crystal Castles, Junior Boys, Passion Pit, Evenings and Teen Daze. You can stream or download "Should Have Left" below.
