The holidays have come to an end and although everyone is back on the grind, we have some shows you should definitely try and make it out to. With new artists on the list as well as veterans of the Canadian stage, this week's picks, from January 14 to 20, feature something for every kind of music fan. Alessia Cara

Last year was huge for Alessia Cara, from the release of her debut album Know-It-All to hitting the stage with Taylor Swift. The Def Jam artist has caused enough hype for her upcoming shows to schedule a second night right by her hometown, Brampton. She'll be hitting Montreal before she makes her way to Toronto for back-to-back shows.

Alex Cuba

Multi-instrumentalist Alex Cuba is no stranger to touring across Canada. The creative direction his band has taken the past several years has been more than well received, as they've gained numerous accolades and awards. Cuba will be sharing the smooth melodies of his latest album Healer in Alberta on January 16 and 20.

Blue Rodeo

To support their latest album, Live at Massey Hall, featuring recordings from their In Our Nature tour, seasoned country rock band Blue Rodeo have hit the road. With 24 shows booked on this Canadian tour, there will be more than enough chances for those in Western Canada to catch them perform this January.

Following the critical success of their debut album, electronic art pop group Majical Cloudz released their latest LP, titled Are You Alone? After touring with big name Lorde in 2014, they're applying what they learned from touring arenas to their current headlining tour, which hits Toronto this week.
