The Mahones may currently be working on a new studio album, but you can sample some of the Celtic punk crew's classics now on their quickly approaching A Great Night on the Lash: Live in Italy concert effort. While the band's own Whiskey Devil Records will have the record out February 11 via eOne Music Canada, you can get all the rowdy action into your earholes now on Exclaim.ca.
As previously reported, the punchy punk unit's new concert collection was captured last July at Bolzano, Italy's Arena Ritten during the Rock im Ring 20th Anniversary Festival. In case the lengthy set of high-speed, accordion- and distorted-guitar-dusted cuts like "Paint the Town Red" and "Wild Rover" wasn't enough for ya, an additional three songs recorded in Belfast, Ireland, close out the set.
