Ready to get wrecked? Well, Brooklyn's Magrudergrind are finally back with another speedy collection of songs. Titled II, the record will be their first for Relapse Records, and it hits stores February 12.
The new album follows 2009's self-titled set for Willowtip Records. It was recorded with studio master Kurt Ballou (Converge) at his GodCity Studios in Salem, MA, and it's described as possessing "a punishing hybrid of grindcore, powerviolence and hardcore punk." While a tracklisting has yet to be offered up in full, the record features 15 new Magrudergrind numbers.
Relapse is already selling pre-orders, with vinyl variants available on purple/yellow wax, standard black vinyl, and on silver wax, as per Relapse's ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations. You'll find more info about the separate runs and more over here.
In the meantime, you can stream a relentlessly thrashed and bashed II track called "Sacrificial Hire" below, via Noisey. There, you'll also find an album trailer.
