Published Aug 15, 2014Tokyo Police Club are usually known as punchy pop rockers, but they're breaking away from that by rolling out an electronic remix of "Paris" by synth-y Boston pop combo Magic Man.
This remix doesn't sound much like anything we've heard Tokyo Police Club do before. It features quirky electric blips, booming beats that resemble bomb blasts and a few pretty tinkles to play off the dramatically emoted vocals.
Magic Man said in a statement, "We're huge fans of TPC, so we were honoured that they'd want to remix us. It's pretty surreal and amazing to have one of your favourite bands do a great remix of 'Paris.'"
Scroll past Magic Man's tour schedule to hear it. The band are touring in support of their recent debut album Before the Waves, and as you'll see, they will be hitting up Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver along the way.
