Toronto-based fans of Madlib's consistently great and seemingly endless Medicine Show record series will be thankful to know that the production master is bringing a live edition of the show to the city in January.
According to a post from Stones Throw, Madlib will headline a performance at Toronto's Great Hall on January 19, where he'll play selections from his Medicine Show. Support will be offered up by his labelmate J Rocc, along with some yet-to-unannounced guests.
If you feel like hopping the border, there will be a show in Brooklyn the night before when Madlib and J Rocc will be joined by Freddie Gibbs at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on January 18.
