In September 2018, Mac Miller tragically passed away at the age of 26. The beloved performer will soon be celebrated with a new documentary.
Margrette Bird Pictures, a production house formed by Mallory Kennedy and Vancouver-based director CJ Wallis, are getting started on a Mac Miller doc by collecting interviews and content to include in the film. The news was first shared via Wallis' own FortyFPS Films page.
In addition to directing films, Wallis also served as the creative director for Jet Life Records, where he directed multiple music videos for the likes of Curren$y, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign and many others.

UPDATE (6/4, 2 p.m. EDT): According to a new tweet, Mac Miller's family has requested that Wallis and co. hold off on the documentary for now, so the film has been shelved for the time being.
