Over the weekend, J.J. Abrams shattered box office records with the arrival of his long-anticipated new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. At this point, everyone from your local newspaper to your nerdy cousin has weighed in, but one question has remained on everyone's mind: What does Mac DeMarco think?
Commissioned by Stereogum, everyone's favourite gap-toothed soft rocker offered his views on the iconic cinematic experience. In the video, he explains he's seen it twice already, though the video listing itself says he saw it three times.
Regardless, DeMarco's got plenty of love — particularly for one beloved character from the Star Wars universe. As he succinctly puts it in two words, "he's back!"
