Mac DeMarco recently unearthed deep cut "Rollin Like a Dummy" for fans, and now he's offering up another non-album track in the form of a cover. Following his redo of Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are," he's done his own rendition of another easy listening classic — James Taylor's "I Was a Fool to Care."

The new take hears DeMarco pairing up with his friend and sometimes bandmate Jon Lent. The pair have also delivered some accompanying visuals that take the viewer on a psychedelic purple and green trip.

The colourful clip finds a man in a leather mask carrying around a James Taylor poster and lovingly stroking his photographed face beside rivers and fields. Watch the video in the player below.
