Sonos Radio has launched a new podcast all about the Grateful Dead, and some high-profile deadheads have chipped in on the new 10-episode order, all of which is available to stream today via Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Featuring interviews with Vampire Weekend's Ezra Koenig, Mac DeMarco and Animal Collective, as well as Margo Price in conversation with Bob Weir himself, the pod will connect with dead-friendly streetwear label Online Ceramics, mycologist Paul Stamets, tour manager Sam Cutler, Lila Downs & Branford Marsalis and more.
"This is a podcast about the Grateful Dead – but even more than that, it's about the community that made the Dead who they are. A truly American experiment," host Emmett Malloy — Grammy-winning filmmaker and deadhead for 40 years — said in a statement.
