M83 mastermind Anthony Gonzalez has yet to follow up his 2011 album Hurry Up, We're Dreaming, instead focusing on soundtracks as of late. The latest is the music for a French film called You and the Night.
Gonzalez has shared "Ali & Matthias," the first taste from his soundtrack. It's certainly very cinematic, combining angelic vocals with a deep palette of instrumentation. If it weren't for the subtle synths, there'd be very few M83 signifiers.
