Last month, Swedish songstress Lykke Li debuted new single "Get Some" via a free download on her website. While it's just as catchy and danceable as anything off her debut disc, Youth Novels, there must have been at least a few raised eyebrows out there after hearing the singer coo: "I'm your prostitute/You gon' get some." Suitably, Li's new accompanying clip, which can be seen below, is a little on the sultry side.
Working off the tune's tribal rockabilly vibe, Li dances around a soundstage, displaying a wealth of hip-shaking moves -- not to mention a couple crotch rubs -- between shots of her wildly scrawling pentagrams on the floor. The archival footage screening behind her is no less tension-filled, as a bunch of warrior ladies wrestle each other before prodding some dudes with their spears. We're not sure what kind of potion Li is preparing in the middle of the video, but we're hoping it cools us off; it's getting a little steamy in here.
If the "Get Some" video doesn't bring you to a proper boil, the news of Li's upcoming world tour will definitely flip your lid. While the details of her new album have still yet to be announced, judging by these tour dates, including stops in Vancouver and Toronto, the disc will most likely drop sometime in the spring.
