Lykke Li Cancels Festival Dates, Takes a Break from Touring

Swedish pop darling Lykke Li delivered her I Never Learn LP last year and wrapped a North American tour in support of the new material back in the fall.

But fans elsewhere are going to have to wait a bit if they were hoping to see the singer live. Li announced via Instagram that she plans to take a break from touring, starting by cancelling a handful of festival dates in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

She will no longer perform at the St. Jerome's Laneway Festival, which is slated to take place at a variety of locations across the aforementioned countries.

Sounding rather exhausted, Li explained that after seven years of constant touring her body was begging for a rest.
