Pop singer (and occasional Swedish-language film star) Lykke Li previously promised that she had a new album on the way this spring, and now she's shared some details about the impending collection.
The album is called I Never Learn, and it will be out overseas on May 5, with the North American release to follow on May 6.
This information was revealed with a new clip, which is partway between an album trailer and music video. Clocking in at a little more than two and a half minutes, it mixes blustery outdoor visuals with a cinematically orchestrated acoustic track.
Li previously said that this album is the third part of a trilogy that also includes 2008's Youth Novels and 2011's Wounded Rhymes. She said that the album is inspired by a recent breakup, and added, "It's always about me and the guilt and the shame and the hurt and the pride and the confusion of being a woman."
