Lupe, Pharrell and Kanye Form Child Rebel Soldiers
Lupe Fiasco has revealed to Billboard.com that he has officially formed the group Child Rebel Soldiers (CRS) along with Kanye West and Pharrell Williams, and a full-length effort may be in the works.

After his show at Lollapalooza, where he performed the Thom Yorke-sampling "Us Placers," the only song they've released so far (on Kanye's Can't Tell Me Nothing mix-tape), Fiasco spilled the beans. "Now [our labels are] working it out," he said. "Whoever is going to pay is going to pay a whole hell of a lot. Everybody is excited, [but] 'Us Placers' is the only record we have."

As for Lupe Fiasco's The Cool, the follow-up to his 2006 debut Food & Liquor, Lupe said the album could be his last. "I'm just wearing down," he admitted. "I'm never doing mix-tapes again, not even Internet ones. My whole energy for making hip-hop music is slowing down. I've been doing it for seven years. I still don't think I'm famous. I'll do what I have to do to promote my next album, but I'm not enthused about doing seven albums. I'll do my three, and then I am going to keep moving to the next phase of life and maybe grow trees."
