Lupe Fiasco

"Lilies" (ft. Sirah)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Oct 17, 2014

After recently revealing that his long-in-the-works Tetsuo and Youth LP should be in full bloom next year and that a new mixtape titled Lost in the Atlantic will be out even earlier than that, Lupe Fiasco has unveiled a sneak preview of the latter in the form of a new, jazzy single called "Lilies."

The Buchanans-produced track busts out spacious but soulful piano lines and a crashed-out beat before swirling in synths and a massive brass band. Fiasco mixes the personal and the political on the track, discussing wars, ebola, the power of art and more. Vocalist Sirah jumps on the track to deliver a inspirational hook analyzing what's deep inside the valley of her heart.

You'll find the track below.

A due date has not yet been confirmed for Lost in the Atlantic, while Tetsuo and Youth is expected to land January 20 through, you guessed it, Atlantic Records.
