Lunice Drops '180' EP

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Nov 24, 2015

Although Lunice may be known to many as one half of the currently on hiatus beat-bringing duo TNGHT with Hudson Mohawke, the Montreal DJ/producer is proving that he's got plenty of solo talent to spread around. Following up last year's cut "Can't Wait To," Lunice has dropped a surprise four-song EP entitled 180.

The album is out now through Lucky Me and features tracks from "lost tapes" that were recorded between 2011 and 2012.

He's shared EP opener "Burnt," which takes the listener on a ride that ranges from haunting supernatural sounds to ominously dark, thumping bass, then lurches into glitched out futuristic bursts of electro-pop. There's a lot to take in, and you can do just that in the player at the bottom of the page.

The tracklist is rounded out by three other songs, and you can find the full list below.

In addition to releasing the EP, Lunice has revealed that he will be supporting Madonna on the European leg of her "Rebel Heart" tour. Find full details here.
