Lunchmeat & Dregs

Split

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jul 4, 2014

Chowing down on the dregs of lunchmeat is a surefire way to land yourself with a stomach ache. Toronto garage punks Lunchmeat and Dregs are setting their sights at damaging your dome, though, with a new, noisy split cassette release.

Lunchmeat take the early shift, with jittery beats, live-wire guitar bends and fuzzed-out organs cranked full tilt on "Doggerel" and the high-speed, personal temple-disrespecting, "My Body Is a Shithole."

Dregs get grimier on grungy numbers like "Molotov Cocktail Happy Hour" and revved-up ripper "Black Bikes," both playing out like abandoned, damaged Mudhoney demos sung by a glass-gargling garbage dump troll.

You'll hear all of the bands' meaty treasures down below and grab a download of the release over on Bandcamp.
